Fall 2026 Lake Cleanup: Thank You to Our Community!

Our Fall Lake Cleanup wrapped up on Saturday, September 26, with an impressive 6,000 pounds of debris collected—enough to fill an entire dumpster! Items included dock support floats, known as “hogs,”
abandoned jet ski ports, and miscellaneous shoreline debris.

A special thank-you to Fannin County Fire Rescue for helping retrieve many of the heavy, hard-to-reach items.
It was exciting to see their brand-new fire boat in action!
We also appreciate the support of the Fannin County Road Department and GoCo.

Thank you to everyone who helped keep our lake beautiful and enjoyable for all!

We look forward to our next collection planned for the Spring of 2027.
